After a lot of waiting, O2 have finally launched their free laptop deals with mobile broadband. They have tied in a deal with the computer manufacturer Samsung to offer a range of three different models. They are offering two full size laptops and one netbook. The models on offer are the Samsung R510 2GB which is a high performance machine, Samsung R510 3GB which is a great machine for multimedia computing and Samsung NC10 which is an ultra portable netbook that is great for being on the go.
All of the laptop deals are available with 2 monthly download packages of 3GB or 10GB along with access to the many O2 free WiFi access zones. The monthly charge for the 3GB package is £29.38 and the 10GB package is £39.15. The Samsung R510 3GB also comes with a one off charge of £78.29 due to its slightly higher specifications.
This now takes O2 mobile broadband packages to a very healthy level of offerings. They were one of the latest to offer the portable Internet services as well as being late to offer the laptop deals, but when they have finally launched their deals they are well thought out and provide great value to the consumer. They are one of only two operators who are offering access to many WiFi hotspots around the UK which is a great addition to the mobile broadband service.
